The light energy increases the temperature in the hair root, which leads to the denaturation of proteins. Thus, the hair follicles can no longer be supplied with the necessary nutrients, fall out and consequently cannot regenerate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A great benefit of the specific wavelength of 808nm is that the resulting heat only reaches the areas of the skin that are occupied by hair papillae. The other layers of the skin and the surrounding tissue are not affected. As heat is generated during the treatment, slight reddening of the skin may occur. These should disappear completely within two days. To prevent skin redness and support the healing process, you can care for the skin area with aloe vera or chamomile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, you should refrain from intensive sunbathing and solarium visits. After treatment, the skin\u2019s natural UV protection is temporarily weakened. To protect your skin, you should use sunscreen for a few days after the treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
